Collection: Symbolism works of art

The world is made up of symbols. What are they pointing to is the question worth considering.  Heatwole often likes to work with symbols in his own art. As a storyteller he says that symbols help point people in a certain direction but as with all art it has room for interpretation. However, he admits to having his own message that he hopes will eventually be received by the buyer. David says that his paintings are his "message in a bottle" minus the bottle.
